He is an orphan and with help from our gift, SOS Chilren&#8217;s Villages is able to provide him with new clothes, a daily meal and education.<\/p>\n<p>We also sponsored Michel Bonten, who started a fundraising for Serious Request. Serious Request\u00a0is a multim<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">edia\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Fundraising\">fundraising<\/a>\u00a0ev<\/span>ent for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/International_Red_Cross_and_Red_Crescent_Movement\">International Red Cross<\/a>\u00a0initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>His fundraising was called: <u><a href=\"https:\/\/kominactie.3fm.nl\/actie\/1600-km-on-foot-for-serious-request\">1600 km on foot for Serious Request<\/a><\/u>.
